Prestan Professional AED Trainer
The Prestan Professional AED Trainer provides easy-to-follow voice directions and preconfigured scenarios to make training students easier. An exclusive feature of the Prestan AED Trainer is a Pad Sensing System. A switch senses when the AED Trainer pads are attached to the manikin’s torso. The pads can be re-used approximately 25-30 times.
Prestan Professional AED Trainer Includes: English/Spanish capability; Scenario, volume control, and language button; 5 scenarios to choose from; Pad testing system; Module that contains the most up-to-date guidelines. When guidelines change, only the module needs to be replaced; Compatible with any CPR manikin; Metronome that counts to help students keep the proper rate during chest compressions.
HeartSine AED Trainer
The HeartSine AED trainer mirrors the HeartSine live device in order to ensure greater user retention and system familiarity. The PAD trainer is easy to use, allowing the trainer the maximum time possible to focus on the learning needs of the group. The trainer provides 8 pre-recorded rescue training scenarios without delivering an actual shock. Features include: 4 scenarios follow ERC 2010 Guidelines and 4 scenarios follow ERC 2000 Guidelines; A PAUSE function so the trainer can pause the automated scenario; Each unit comes complete with a remote control and AAA batteries, Trainer-Pak, battery charger, soft carry case with 2 zipper compartments, User Manual, and 5 pairs of training electrode pads. The remote control can be programmed to control a number of devices.
Philips AED Trainers
We offer three different Philips AED Trainers. The most popular one is the HeartStart OnSite trainer. The trainer features clear, calm voice instructions that matches those of the HeartStart OnSite defibrillator. The unit resembles the actual defibrillator, yet is sufficiently different to avoid inadvertent use in an emergency. It has preconfigured sudden cardiac arrest scenarios to simulate how the OnSite AED will operate during a real-life cardiac arrest event and provides coaching for both adult and infant/child CPR. The trainer works with internal and external pads adapters, allowing the instructor to provide some or no clues toward pad placement, resulting in the most realistic training.
