September is National Preparedness Month! Although the focus is often on preparedness planning for individuals and families, businesses must also plan for, respond to and mitigate a variety of natural disasters and emergency situations.
Business leaders should explore preparedness resources and training options, such as:
- Ready.gov’s preparedness planning toolkits for businesses
- CPR, AED and First Aid training for all employees
- Active Violence Emergency Response Training (AVERT) to prepare for active shooter and emergency bleeding situations
