Training Centers and Instructors across the country have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Like most small businesses, emergency care training businesses are looking for ways to keep their doors open.
We’ve adapted and created an alternative means of training through the HSI Remote Skills Verification (RSV) platform. But we recognize that additional financial assistance sources may be needed.
Fortunately, many nonprofit organizations, businesses, and government entities have funds available to small businesses experiencing economic hardship. Here’s a few examples:
- The Paycheck Protection Program provides small businesses with up to 8 weeks of funding to cover payroll costs and other certain businesses expenses. The loan amount is eligible for forgiveness if funds are used appropriately. Reach out to your bank or find an eligible lender for more information. But hurry because these funds are limited!
- Texas Woman’s University is providing Texas-based women-owned businesses with $10,000 grants.
- The Salesforce Care Small Business Grants program will soon be offering $10,000 grants.
These are just a small sample of the many emergency relief grants and financial assistance available to small businesses and individuals. For a more extensive list of grant opportunities, visit the HSI emergency care blog.
