EMS Safety's Training Programs have been reviewed and approved by numerous federal, state, local and private organizations. See below for a list of some of our approvals. At EMS Safety we are always seeking out new agencies to review our programs. Contact us if you need a program approval, and we will assist with the approval process. Approval letters are available upon request.

The Approval Process: Some state agencies approve CPR, AED, and First Aid programs for specific uses, such as childcare providers or dentists. Other states mandate what program elements are required and do not have a formal approval process. Still others only accept programs from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. When an approval process does exist, EMS Safety will submit the program to the appropriate agency, usually a state department or board. It’s often our Instructors who inform us about approval opportunities. Contact us with program approval questions, or if you need us to get an approval started. We can help you check the regulations and determine if an approval process exists for your need.

A Word on OSHA: The Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) does not approve programs. EMS Safety's CPR, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens training programs are OSHA-compliant and meet the regulations. For more information on what is required by OSHA, visit their website at www.osha.gov, or click on the link for Bloodborne Pathogens requirements and first aid requirements.
